Situating graphic design at the intersection of economics, aesthetics, behavioural psychology and market research, for Pieter Huveneers (1925–2017) design and business were inseparable. At a time when the field of graphic design had expanded to encompass consideration of how a company should present itself to the public, the Dutch transplant rode the wave of corporate identity, dominating the burgeoning sphere in Australia throughout the 1970s and 80s.
