The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences acknowledges Australia’s First Nations Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and gives respect to the Elders – past and present – and through them to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Womens outfit comprising a jumper and leggings with 'Oz all' design, a skirt with 'Uni oz' design, a tabard, vest and hat.

The jumper is tight fitting with a high round neck and long straight sleeves made of hand knitted polychrome wool yarns. The jumper has the 'Oz All' design featuring bands of Australian flora and fauna with cockatoo, kangaroo, waratah and gum leaves. There is a centre back opening fastening with three blue plastic buttons and the jumper is handsewn and unlined.

The skirt is full, falling to just below the knee with and elasticised waist. The skirt is hand knitted in polychrome wool yarns in the 'Uni Oz' design featuring narrow bands with the Sydney Opera House, sturts desert pea, eyes, Ayers Rock, boomerangs, and a band of opal at hem. The skirt is handsewn and unlined.

The vest is loose fitting and sleeveless. It is made of knitted polychrome wool yarns in an abstract design featuring wattle. The vest has a ribbed waist, armholes and V-neckline. It is handsewn and unlined.

The tabard is short and made of knitted wool and mohair yarns in a polychrome design made up of abstract shapes, shields and landscape elements. Incorporated into the design is text from Dorothea Mackellar's poem 'My Country'. The tabard has a high round neckline and is handsewn and unlined.

The leggings are a pair, hand knitted in polychrome wool yarns in the 'Oz All' design to match the jumper. One has koalas and desert peas and the other has shapes and Australia in red.

The hat is close fitting with a narrow brim made of crocheted polychrome cotton yarns with 'FLAMINGO PARK' and 'OZ' in red. The hat is unlined.
