The display unit consists of 52 examples of pacemakers mounted in a wooden, glass-fronted case, with the heading 'Evolution of Telectronics pacemakers'. The examples are all labelled and range from '1963/ Model P1' to '1985/ Optima 274'. Designed for wall-mounting, the display unit may have been used in the company's foyer or board room. The pacemakers in the display were made by Telectronics Pty Ltd, Sirius Road, Lane Cove, NSW, Australia. The display unit itself would have been made by, or for, Telectronics. The most recent example of a pacemaker shown was made in 1985.
