Papier-mache anatomical model of a heart

Made by Shimadzu Manufacturing in Japan, 1919.
Papier-mache model of a dissected heart, illustrating its anatomical structure. The model has been painted with realistic colours to replicate a real heart. The model has moveable, removable and opening parts held together with small brass hooks and eyes. Each part is printed with a different number and small stickers with letters, which are intended to work as a key to describe each part.
