Necklace by Robert Ebendorf

Designed by Ebendorf, Robert
Necklace, cross, wood / pearl / metal / glass / gold leaf, designed and made by Robert Ebendorf, USA, 1993.

A necklace constructed from six long thin links made from coat-hanger wire, interlocking with small circular links made from drapery-hook wire to form a chain decorated with lumps of green frosted glass at the first links. A cruciform pendant hangs from the linked chain. It is made of found wood, has green painted trim and is decorated with seed pearls on rusted metal and a blue glass stone set on applied gold leaf. A maker's mark is on the reverse of the cross.
