The Powerhouse acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the ancestral homelands upon which our museums are situated. We respect their Elders, past, present and future and recognise their continuous connection to Country.
From construction to completion and use the Sydney Harbour Bridge has drawn the eye of photographers. The collection contains images of construction on the north and south sides of the harbour starting in 1923. As well as the building of the arch and the opening celebrations on Saturday 19 March 1932. Photographers continue to pay homage to the Bridge as an iconic landmark of Sydney.
