The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences acknowledges Australia’s First Nations Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and gives respect to the Elders – past and present – and through them to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are advised that the MAAS website contains a range of Indigenous Cultural Material. This includes artworks, artifacts, images and recordings of people who may have passed away, and other objects which may be culturally sensitive.

Model flying machine 'Experiment C'

Model flying machine made with a wooden beam as the fuselage with one long rectangular wing mounted along the top. Hinged cross bars form the flapping components which also have pointed wings. Wings have thin wooden frames and are covered in brown paper. There are two plastic wheels mounted near the tail. There are strings tied from the wing rods to the fuselage and a wooden winder is mounted under the wing hinges.
