The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences acknowledges Australia’s First Nations Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and gives respect to the Elders – past and present – and through them to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are advised that the MAAS website contains a range of Indigenous Cultural Material. This includes artworks, artifacts, images and recordings of people who may have passed away, and other objects which may be culturally sensitive.

Swimsuit has a printed repeat design in yellow, white and green ink, which consists of Aboriginal Australian inspired Australian water animals and motifs. Base of right hand side has a small sewn on Speedo label label in red and black, which reads, 'SPEEDO'. Inside of lower right hand side is a small fabric label attached with printed text in red and black which reads, 'SPEEDO / (Speedo logo) / 16(34 ") / HEIGHT 170 CM / 80% NYLON / 20% ELASTOMERIC / (LYCRA) and of reverse, 'MADE IN / AUSTRALIA / RINSE IN FRESH / WASH AFTER USE / DO NOT MACHINE / WASH OR DRY'.

Swimsuit has a printed repeat design in yellow, white and green ink, which consists of Aboriginal Australian inspired Australian water animals and motifs. Base of right hand side has a small sewn on Speedo label label in red and black, which reads, 'SPEEDO'.
