Button (/1), with convex back and recessed loop for attachment, inscribed on the obverse with insignia of regiment, a prowling puma and number of regiment between inscription "India/ Waterloo", on the reverse, the manufacturer's name within a decorative leaf pattern. Insignia stamped on obverse, prowling puma surmounting "14", with the areas of service inscribed on the outer edge of the button, "INDIA/ WATERLOO".Manufacturer name and location stamped on reverse in a concentric circle around the recessed loop, "P TAIT & Co LIMERICK".
