This is an Art Nouveau style silver electroplated pewter tea and coffee set made by Wurttembergische metallwarenfabrik (WMF) in Germany in about 1903. Unlike the Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau fully accepted the machine and stylish mass-produced metalwork was very popular. Set up in 1880, the WMF was the world's largest producer and exporter of household metalware until 1914.
