Slipcast earthenware vase with glaze and sgraffito decoration. The vase is cylindrically shaped with a bulbous centre and depicts a stylised Indigenous Australian figure with sgraffito detail against a yellow ground of horizontal strokes. The figure wears a white waist cloth and stands with his back to the viewer within a landscape of tall trees, tree stumps and undergrowth in brown, red, yellow and green.
