Sidney Warden was the most prolific of the several architects who designed hotels for Tooth & Co. Some of the architects who worked for Tooth & Co - Sidney Ancher, Sam Lipson, Rudder & Grout - were better known, but none designed so many hotels or so many well-known hotels.

Notes

According to the New South Wales Heritage Branch, the Hotel Broadway was built in 1936 (see http://www.heritage.nsw.gov.au/07_subnav_01_2.cfm?itemid=2420277). According to Sandy Barrie's "Australians behind the camera: directory of early photographers, 1841-1945" the photographer E A Bradford (working for Bradford Johnson Pty Ltd) was situated at 24 Jamieson St, Sydney during 1939-1940.
