Physical DescriptionBlack and white glass plate negative depicting a four foot eight and a half inch (1435 mm) standard gauge tank wagon with a tall cylindrical-shaped dome at one end, a light, 15 foot 6 inch (4.73 m) timber underframe, a 5 foot 2 inch (1.57 m) diameter riveted steel, 1,544-gallon (7,070.9-litre) tank, standard hook and link drawgear, and buffers. Letters painted on the end of the tank read: "NSW / SHALE & OIL COY LTD / 9" and also "9" on the underframe which identified the tank.
