Silver gelatin dry plate glass negative in landscape format. The image depicts packhorses on a track near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. The track extends from the left side of the image to the foreground on the right side of the image and six horses are depicted in a line on the track. Two men are depicted in the centre of the image, they are riding two of the horses. A young boy can be seen standing in the foreground on the right side of the image, he is near the first horse and is holding a leading rope. The track appears to be running along a sloping hill or mountain and is surrounded by dense forest vegetation. The caption, studio number and studio mark are inscribed on the reverse of the negative.
