Silver gelatin dry plate glass negative in landscape format. The image depicts Neutral Bay in Sydney Harbour. Neutral Bay is depicted in the centre of the image, extending from the foreground to the background of the image. Several vessels can be seen on the bay in the foreground and background of the image, including small boats, yachts and steamer ferries and cargo steamers. A large rectangular structure, possibly swimming baths can be seen in the bay. A double-ended steamer ferry can be seen on Neutral Bay in the centre of the image, it is probably heading towards Neutral Bay wharf. 'Joyces Boat Shed' can be seen on the foreshore of Neutral Bay in the centre left of the image. An industrial building is depicted in the centre right of the image. The masts of ships docked near the building can be partially seen. The suburb of Neutral Bay is depicted in the centre and background on the left side of the image, numerous buildings can be seen. The caption, studio number and studio mark are inscribed on the reverse of the negative.
