Silver gelatin dry plate glass negative in landscape format. The image depicts the Archbishop's House, formerly known as Cardinal's Palace in Darley Road Manly. The two-storey Gothic Revival style building dominates the image and features an observation tower and statues mounted high on the gabled ends. Two statues resembling angels and holding lights flank the entrance steps. The foreground of the image depicts a circular driveway and gardens. The garden at the front of the building features manicured lawns, a jardiniere mounted on a stone plinth and a garden seat. The caption, studio mark and studio number are inscribed on the reverse of the negative.
