Stamped across one side "SEIMENS/BROs/LONDON", stamped below this in a circular pattern "PATENT PLUMBAGO CRUCIBLE COMPANY", stamped within this circle "BATTERSEA/WORKS/LONDON", stamped below this "2 1/2", below this the letter "C" stamped within a diamond.
