Maker's trademark and number on base, in impressed text 'DOULTON'S' and '10 85'. Starburst paper label adhered to base, written in pencil '4 WGH / Lc/-/-'. Circular paper label adhered to base, printed in brown, with the number written in black ink 'ROYAL DOULTON / - / John Slater Collection No...422'.
