Notes

Designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier for Memphis.

Made by Memphis. The Memphis group was founded by Ettore Sottsass Jr in the early 1980s. With their bright colours and eccentric forms the groups furniture, ceramics, glass, tectiles and light fittings were considered some of the most influential and controversial designs since WW11. This shirt with its brightly coloured print and quirky motifs is an excellent example of the groups work with textile design.

Memphis shirt made 1984, brought 1992.
