Facsimile machine with accessories and packaging, ITT 3500 Telefax Group 2, plastic/metal, Qwip Systems/Zephyr Products, USA/Australia, 1980-1982.
Facsimile machine and packaging: black plastic body, rectangular, clear plastic covers over printing drum and mode switch, front corner hinged at top, three way switch at top right for speed selection, power indicator light top right, contrast control at top back, printing/receiving drum and mode switch accessed through hinged cover, test sheet already attached to drum, on back - from left to right - socket for phone connection, socket for line connection, silver adhesive labels with manufacturers specifications, fuse plug, socket for A/C cord, on base silver adhesive caution label. Clear plastic adhesive over plastic covers for packaging and protection. Folded cardboard box, closures at top, closures fixed with tape. Sticky labels: 'Fragile/Delicate, Instrument/Handle with Care', address label, courier identification labels. Folded cardboard support in rectangular block for sides and base of box. Two cardboard supports for ends of box. Manufacturer's white printed cardboard label with serial and models numbers: 'Serial No. L03540/Model No. 1303-1'. Four rectangular yellow open cell foam blocks for ends of box.
Copier paper: packet of copier paper, packaged in brown cardboard box with manufacturer's details, sealed with brown tape. Printed on front: 'QWIP/QWIP Systems/Division of Exxon Enterprises Inc/927 Fern Street/Altamonte springs, Florida 32701/QWIP is a registered trademark of Exxon Corporation/Copy Paper/PC100'.
Booklet: soft bound cover, 11 pages, black and white only text (English) and photgraphs for operation of facsimile machine. Title: 'QUIP TWO/1300 series/transceiver/operations manual/QWIP systems/Division of Exxon Enterprises Inc.'.
Factory test report and transmission sheet: stapled one test report on green paper in black, handwritten notes in various hands and inks, stamped, six copies of test chart - grey facsimile paper, black text and diagrams, two charts stamped 'unnacceptable', two charts stamped 'acceptable', one check sheet, black text on manila paper, list of instrument settings to be checked, dated and stamped.
Packaged transmission cord: grey plastic covered flat cord with black plug at one end and four metal clips attached to four coloured wires at other for connection to [phone outlet]. Bound with brown paper.
Packaged power cord: black plastic covered cord with black plastic plug for outlet at one end and three partially uncovered wires at the other. Bound with rubber band in the middle.
Line connector and packaging: grey rectangular plastic body, brown plastic electrical cord with black plug from one side of body for connection to facsimile machine, black plastic electrical cord with white plug from opposite side of body for line connection, on base black adhesive label with silver text: 'Telecom Interface box/Approval No. RA77/101/Type TIC/2A/Sephyr Products Melb.' Moulded into casing on top 'Made in Australia'. Rectangular unbleached cardboard box with lid. Handwritten on lid: 'TIC 2A/C/W SP/PL'.

Telegrafax received the machine from Australian dealer, Standard Telephones and Cables of Canberra, ACT. It remained as stock from 1982 to 1992.
