Consists of a white enamelled steel advertising sign for the New Zealand Loan & Mercanitile Agency in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The sign displays a black and white photographic image of the New Zealand Loan and Mercanitile Agency wool store taken from William Henry Street in Sydney. The foreground of the image has incised images of horse teams and drays loaded with wool, casks, hides and other produce. The skyline towards George Street and the University of Sydney can be seen in the background. The text 'New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Co Ltd, Sydney' is printed on the front of the sign. The text 'Offices 38 Bridge Street' and 'Paddock Accomodation close to Homebush' is displayed on the lower right and left hand corners respectively.
