Physical Description

Vase, earthenware, slip-cast, with a spreading foot and steep sides rising to a slender trefoil mouth, columns of rounded scale-like ribs rise from the base to the rim, glazed with a pale yellow-pink lustre glaze.

Marks

Impressed mark "170" under the base under glaze, and printed mark "PATES / POTTERIES / SYDNEY / AUSTRALIA" under the base over glaze in black.
