Jug, earthenware, slip-cast, banded cylindrical form with a slightly spreading foot, swollen lower body, slight waist, upper body flares to wide mouth with pointed pouring lip, angular handle with small C-shaped lower terminal, two-tone glazed with a streaky light brown and yellow glaze.

Marks

Printed mark "PATES / POTTERIES / SYDNEY / AUSTRALIA" under the base over glaze in black.
