Physical Description

Toy aeroplane, 'Micro Models', TAA Vickers Viscount VH-TVA, die-cast zinc, made by Goodwood (Australia) Productions Pty Ltd, Australia, 1952-1961

Toy aircraft model of T.A.A. Vickers Viscount made with die-cast zinc and a two piece riveted construction. Finished with silver, white and blue enamel. Four rubber wheels are located under the body and four moveable propellers are attached to the wings. The text 'Trans - Australia Airlines TAA' is in raised print and red enamel on the two sides of fuselage and 'TAA / VH-TVA' is in raised print on the wings.

The text 'Trans - Australia Airlines TAA' is in raised print and red enamel on the two sides of fuselage and 'TAA / VH-TVA' is in raised print on the wings. The raised text 'MICRO MODELS / GB/24 / VICKERS / VISCOUNT' is on the underside of the model.
