    Imre and Gyula (Julius) Soos were brothers who came to Australia from Hungary about 1950. They worked on the Snowy Mountains scheme before establishing their own design business.

    The Soos brothers gained a profile in 1950s Sydney primarily for their restaurant and cafe interiror designs including as well as Georges the American Espresso Lounge, Wynyard and the Mars Espresso Caffe, Pitt Street.
