Physical Description

Cover of the monthly staff magazine of the Reserve Bank of Australia, with wrap around cover design. Set on a black background, the design features a horizontal 40:60 split of red and yellow graphics and text in a serif font. In the top portion in red ? a graphic web of interwoven branches, a horizontal stripe including the magazine title ? CURRENCY? (white) and the definition of the word ?current? (as it would appear in the dictionary); this transitions into the lower portion and the definition of the word 'currency? appearing in yellow. The focal point of the design - a pair of hands (white silhouettes), are set in the foreground with the numerals 1 to 10 in a black sans serif font to convey the artist?s message. The design is repeated on the back cover. Printed inside the cover, the RBA logo with letters 'RBA' in white on a yellow square background.
